Everyone is invited to join Art Spaces and partners for an Open House on Thursday, July 28 any time between 12:00-6:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Mayflower Room on the second floor of the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Terre Haute.
Art Spaces Staff and Board Members, as well as members of the Turn to the River Planning Team, will welcome attendees to various stations throughout the room, each representing a specific location between downtown and the river including:
- An Overview of Turn to the River
- A Walking Promenade
- The Civic Plaza
- A Multi-Use Parking Lot
- One Wabash – a riverside green space and overlook.
The historically and culturally significant sites that comprise the focus area for Turn to the River offer enormous potential for positive public use. Attendees will have multiple opportunities to share ideas in writing, drawing, electronically or verbally.
Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees coming during the lunch hour may bring their own lunch.
