Join Art Spaces for our Annual Luncheon at the Country Club of Terre Haute on June 16, 2021 at 12:00 pm featuring a talk by Arthur Feinsod about the book Self and Soul.
Self and Soul: A Defense of Ideals (Harvard University Press) by Mark Edmundson reminds us that we are creatures of soul as much as we are physical beings. Ideals to live by, as illuminated and encouraged by the “great books,” are valuable to take into account as we examine our present-day culture and imagine our future.
Arthur Feinsod is a writer and director who taught in the Indiana State University Department of Theater and the Honors College (2001 – 2021). He has published two books: The Simple Stage (Greenwood Press) and Sword Against the Sea (Samuel French), and, recently, chapters for University and Society (Edward Elgar Publishing) and Great North American Stage Directors. His play Coming to See Aunt Sophie (2014) tour Germany and Poland. He is President of the Inter Faith Council of the Wabash Valley (IFC) and has given talks on issues related to faith.
