On Friday, April 23, Art Spaces held a press conference at the government plaza with city and county officials, as well as area legislators and representatives from the Art Spaces’ board to announce the official launch of Turn to the River. Mayor Duke Bennett proclaimed Friday, April 23, 2021 as Turn to the River Day.

Design Development by Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group will guide all of the on-site work. The area will also feature a new artwork by artist Brad Goldberg. Contractors working on the site will include ST Construction, Inc., Smock Fansler, and others.
